Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor

ECT sensor is threaded into intake manifold and detects temperature of engine coolant and supplies the information to ECA. The ECA modifies ignition timing, EGR flow and air/fuel ratio, depending on signal from ECT sensor.
