12 00 ... Instructions on compression testing

Cars with automatic transmissions:
- Select drive position "P"
- Apply handbrake
Cars with manual transmissions:
- Move gearshift lever to neutral position
- Apply handbrake
Turn off ignition.
Disconnect DME master relay. This ensures that the DME control unit does not actuate the ignition coils.
If this procedure is not observed:
- High voltage! - Mortal danger!
- Damage to DME control unit (ignition final stages)!
