24 61 500 Transmission Control Unit
Removal and Installation
Clamp off battery. See DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD .
Release screw (1).
Detach retaining bracket (2) from control unit.
Tightening torque 24 61 1AZ .
Disconnect connector (3) and remove control unit from bracket.
IMPORTANT:
The adaptation values must be reset after the control unit has been replaced.
