Control Arm: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure.
  2. Remove grease from bores and pins.
  3. Replace all self-locking nuts. Damaged threads on engine mounts can be repaired with Helicoil M12 x 1.5 threaded inserts. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  4. Force ball joint upwards with a transmission lifter and base. This makes it easier to tighten down the nut.
