Acoustic sensor
The acoustic sensor in the instrument panel (KOMBI) issues acoustic signals for the following functions:
- Turn indicators
- Hazard warning flashers
- Check Control messages
On vehicles with Car Communication Computer (CCC): The acoustic signals to the Check Control messages are emitted via the vehicle speakers. The auxiliary instrument (KOMBI2) receives the signals from the instrument cluster (KOMBI) via the body bus. The auxiliary instrument controls these warnings via the K-CAN.
