SITUATION
Perceived fracture, crack or scratch on the instrument cluster cover glass below the odometer reset knob.
CAUSE
Instrument cluster glass cover manufacturing process creates a flow line where materials are joined together.
CORRECTION
Please inform the customer that this is a normal result of the instrument cluster manufacturing process.
Replacing the instrument cluster will NOT provide a solution.
WARRANTY INFORMATION
Replacing the instrument cluster for this issue will NOT be covered or reimbursed under MINI limited warranties.
