Sub EGR Valve

  1. Check operation of sub EGR valve by manually pulling linkage to be sure it moves smoothly. If valve is hard to move, remove sub EGR valve and check for carbon deposits and/or dust.
  2. If required, clean valve with solvent and apply oil sparingly. If valve is still difficult to move, replace sub EGR valve. If sub EGR valve cannot be removed easily, spray solvent several times from outside with rubber boot removed. Turn and remove sub EGR valve.
