ECI System Check Procedure Chart For Conquest With INTERCOOLER

NOTE: The ECI System Check Procedure Chart For Conquest With Intercooler Table has been revised due to Technical Service Bulletin No. 14-25-85, dated August 5, 1985.
ECI SYSTEM CHECK PROCEDURE CHART FOR CONQUEST WITH INTERCOOLER

ECU Terminal; Check Item Condition Check Meter Reading When Normal
B-1; Power Supply Ignition Switch Off to On 11-13 V
A-23; Secondary Air Control Solenoid Valve Restart the engine after warming up Goes From 0-0.5 V To 13-15 V After15 Seconds
A-15; Throttle position sensor Ignition switch From OFF To ON Accelerator closed 0.4-1.5 V
" Ignition switch From OFF To ON, Accelerator wide open 3 V
A-6; Coolant temperature sensor Ignition Switch From OFF To ON, 0°C (32°F) 3.5 V
" Ignition Switch From OFF To ON, 20° (68°F) 2.6 V
" Ignition Switch From OFF To ON, 40° (104°F) 1.8 V
" Ignition Switch From OFF To ON, 80° (176°F) 0.6 V
A-5; Intake Temperature Sensor "A" Ignition Switch OFF To ON 0°C (32°F) 3.5 V
" Ignition Switch OFF To ON 20° (68°F) 2.6 V
" Ignition Switch OFF To ON 40° (104°F) 1.8 V
" Ignition Switch OFF To ON 80° (176°F) 0.6 V
A-7; Idle position switch Ignition Switch OFF To On Accelerator closed 0-0.5 V
" Ignition Switch OFF To On Accelerator opened 11-13 V
A-8; ISC motor position S/W (MPS) Ignition switch Off to ON 11-13 V (1)
B-6; A/C relay Ignition switch OFF To ON A/C SW Off 0-0.5 V
" Ignition switch OFF to ON A/C S/W On 11-13 V
A-19; Reed switch for vehicle speed Start engine, transmission in first and operate vehicle slowly Pulsates From 0-0.5 V To Over 2 V
B-5; Cranking Signal Ignition switch Off to ON Over 8 V
A-22; Control relay Idling 0-0.5 V
A-1; Ignition pulse Idling 12-14 V

A-2; Air flow Sensor Idling And At 3000 RPM 2.7-3.2 V

A-11; Oxygen Sensor Keep 1,300 rpm after warming up the engine Pulsates From 0.4-1 V To 2.7 V
B-4; EGR control solenoid valve Keep idling after warming up engine 13-15 V
" Raise the engine 3,500 rpm 0-0.5 V
A-9; Pressure Sensor Ignition switch Off to ON 1.5-2.6 V
" Idling 0.2-1.2 V (2)
B-9; ISC motor for extension Idling 0-2 V
" Idling, A/C switch Off to ON Momentarily over 6 V
B-11; ISC motor for retraction Idling 0-2 V
" Idling, A/C switch ON to Off Momentarily over 6 V
A-12; Spark advance signal Ignition switch OFF to ON Over 5 V
" Idling 0-5 V
" Idling of over 1,200 m (3,900 ft.) Over 5 V
A-17; Intake air temperature sensor "B" Ignition Switch OFF To ON 0° (32°F) 3.5 V
" Ignition Switch OFF to ON 20° (68°F) 2.6 V
" Ignition Switch OFF to ON 40° (104°F) 1.8 V
" Ignition Switch OFF to ON 80° (176°F) 0.6 V
(1) If ignition switch is turned to ON for 15 seconds or more, the reading drops below 5 V momentarily.
(2) The reading rises to 1.5-2.6 V every 2 minutes momentarily.
