All Others (Output Signal Chart Step 2)
- Turn ignition switch to "LOCK" position. On ECI checker, set check switch to "OFF" position. Disconnect White connectors (labeled "CHECKER") of harness connector from ECI checker. Connect Green connectors to ECI checker. Perform checks according to appropriate ECI SYSTEM OUTPUT SIGNAL CHART-STEP 2 under OUTPUT SIGNAL CHARTS .
- If checker reading varies from specifications, check corresponding sensor and related electrical wiring. After component repair or replacement, recheck to confirm system performance.
- Set check switch of ECI checker to "OFF" position. Set ignition switch to "LOCK" position. Carefully separate connectors of ECI checker from ECU and body side harness connectors. Connect body side harness connector to ECU.
