Operational Check

Disconnect wiring connector from wiper motor. Connect battery positive voltage to one terminal and battery negative voltage to another terminal to ensure automatic operation. See REAR WIPER MOTOR OPERATIONAL CHECK table for terminal numbers and model application. SeeFig 1 .

On Precis models, the rear wiper/washer switch must be checked for continuity between the following terminals:
- With switch in "OFF" position, continuity must be present between terminals No. 2 and 3.
- With switch in "ON" position, continuity must be present between terminals No. 1 and 2.
