SERVICE INFORMATION

Many rear window defogger grid lines can be repaired easily quickly and economically using a REAR WINDOW DEFOGGER REPAIR KIT marketed by Loctite Corporation. The kit, Loctite part No. 1507, is available from auto jobbers and retail auto parts stores. (If unavailable from your usual source, call Loctite at 1-800-321-9188 and ask for Customer Service.) It is the only product tested by MMSA and there may be other products equally suitable.

To use the Loctite kit follow the manufacturer's instructions included with the kit. If necessary, the appearance of the repaired section of the grid line can be enhanced by carefully trimming the width of the repaired section with a sharp blade after the resin has dried. See Fig 1 .
