All 1987 California certified Precis vehicles are being recalled. The procedures specified in this bulletin apply to 1987 California 1.5L Precis models without a vacuum regulator valve. There is no limitation as to mileage. It does not apply to any other models or to vehicles with a vacuum regulator valve.

NOTE: Repair procedures for California Precis vehicles that have a vacuum regulator valve are covered in EMR-90-007.
