Connecting the ECU Jumper Harness

27. Loosen the main console mounting screws 1 complete turn and pull the main console backward to make a small gap between the main console and the supplement console.

NOTE: Do not remove the main console mounting screws completely.




28. Remove the 4 screws securing the supplement console. Remove the supplement console and set aside.



29. Remove the two upper screws from the electronic control unit (ECU) mounting bracket.



30. Disconnect the ECU electrical connector that is closest to the passenger side of the vehicle. From the parts kit obtain the new jumper harness and connect it between the ECU and the main wiring harness.



31. Reinstall the ECU, the supplement console, and while gently pushing the main console forward tighten the main console mounting screws.

NOTE: Do not overtighten these screws.
