Inhibitor Switch (Automatic Transmission Only)
Disconnect inhibitor switch connector. Check for continuity between terminals No. 1 and 2 (Starion) or No. 8 and 9 (Mirage) while operating select lever. See Fig 1. Continuity should exist with lever in Park or Neutral. There should be no continuity when in other gears. If result is otherwise, adjust inhibitor switch.
