All Others (Output Signal Chart Step 1)
- Turn ignition switch to "LOCK" position. Remove large and small harness connector from ECU. On ECI Checker (MD998406 for Mitsubishi models), set check switch to "OFF" position and select switch to "A" position.
- Connect White connectors (labeled "CHECKER") of Harness Connector (MD998437 for Mitsubishi models) to ECI checker. Connect harness connector to ECU and body side harness connectors. See Figure. Perform checks according to appropriate ECI SYSTEM OUTPUT SIGNAL CHART-STEP 1 under OUTPUT SIGNAL CHARTS .
