Inhibitor Switch (Automatic Transmission Only)

Disconnect inhibitor switch connector. Check for continuity between terminals No. 1 and 2 (Starion) or No. 8 and 9 (Mirage) while operating select lever. See Figure . Continuity should exist with lever in Park or Neutral. There should be no continuity when in other gears. If result is otherwise, adjust inhibitor switch.
