Disassembly (Sigma)

  1. Remove steering wheel and combination switch. Remove joint assembly. Remove boot, bearing and cover. See Fig 1 . Remove snap ring, stopper and bearing spacer.

  2. Remove steering lock housing. If steering lock is to be removed, cut retaining screws with hacksaw. Remove steering lock and bracket. DO NOT separate steering shaft from steering column.
