Steering System - Power: Description

Power-assisted rack and pinion steering system consists of a vane pump, flow control valve and an oil reservoir. Belt-driven vane pump supplies fluid through hoses to flow control valve. Flow control valve regulates fluid pressure to assist rack and pinion steering gear. On some Sigma and Galant models, steering force is electronically controlled.
