Power Window Relay Activation Circuit

When the ignition is switched to the ON position, and also for a period of 30 seconds after the ignition switch is switched to OFF, the transistor of the electronic unit is switched ON, and the battery voltage is supplied from the battery (through sub-fusible link No. 4) to the power window relay. Voltage is supplied (through sub-fusible link No. 3) to power window switch and motor as a result of the switch ON of the power window relay. See Fig 1 .

NOTE: When a front door is opened within the 30 second period after the ignition switch is switched to the OFF position, the power supply to the power window relay is stopped when a front door is opened.
