Wastegate Control Solenoid Valve Test

  1. Valve is located near top of air cleaner. Disconnect harness connector at valve. Connect battery positive lead to Red wire terminal and negative lead to Orange wire terminal of valve. If internal solenoid does not operate, replace valve.
  2. Connect ohmmeter between wire terminals of valve. Resistance should be 36-44 ohms at 68°F (20°C). If resistance is not within specified range, replace valve.
