Pressure Test

- Connect pressure gauges to input and output ports of the proportioning valve. See Fig 1 . Bleed brake hydraulic system. Refer to BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM .
- Slowly depress brake pedal. Check readings on pressure gauges. Ensure output pressure begins to drop relative to input pressure at split point pressure range of 526-604 psi (37-42 kg/cm2 ).
- Continue depressing brake pedal and check readings on pressure gauges. See PROPORTIONING VALVE PRESSURE SPECIFICATIONS table. If fluid pressures or split point are not within specification, replace proportioning valve.
