Barometric Pressure Sensor

Measure voltage between terminals No. 5 (Brown wire on 1.5L and 2.4L, Blue/White wire on 3.0L) and No. 6 (Black wire) of airflow sensor connector. See Figure . Warm engine to normal operating temperature. With engine idling, gradually cover half of air cleaner intake while observing voltmeter. Voltage should drop as air intake is covered. If voltage does not drop, replace airflow sensor assembly.
