Wiper Switch AUTO Input Circuit

  1. Disconnect ETACS control unit. With wiper switch in OFF position, check continuity between control unit harness connector terminal No. 10 and ground. See Figure -Figure . No continuity should exist.
  2. With wiper switch in AUTO position, check continuity between control unit harness connector terminal No. 10 and ground. Continuity should exist. If continuity is not as indicated, check circuit and/or wiper switch. To check wiper switch, See appropriate STEERING COLUMN SWITCHES article in the ACCESSORIES/SAFETY EQUIPMENT Section.
