"G" Force Sensor Circuit

  1. Test "G" force sensor. See "G" FORCE SENSOR under COMPONENT TESTING. If sensor is okay, go to next step. If sensor is faulty, replace sensor. See "G" FORCE SENSOR (AWD) under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
  2. Disconnect ECU wiring harness connector. Turn ignition on. Using a DVOM, measure voltage between terminal No. 6 and ground. See Figure . If battery voltage is not present, repair or replace wiring harness between "G" force sensor and ECU. If battery voltage is present, "G" force sensor circuit is okay. Replace faulty ECU.
