Abs Power Relay

  1. Remove ABS power relay. See ABS POWER RELAY under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect relay connector. Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between terminals No. 1 and 3. See Fig 1. If continuity exists, replace relay.
  2. If no continuity exists, check for continuity between terminals No. 2 and 4. If continuity exists, go to next step. If no continuity exists, replace relay.
  3. Apply battery voltage to terminal No. 2, and ground terminal No. 4. Check for continuity between terminals No. 1 and 3. If continuity exists, relay is okay. If continuity does not exist, replace relay.
