DTC 17: Open IG2 Signal Circuit

NOTE: DTC 17 is set when engine is operating at 450 RPM or more and IG2 power supply voltage is not being received by TCL module due to open or shorted circuit.
  1. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect TCL module connector. See Figure . Turn ignition on. Using DVOM in voltmeter mode, check voltage between module connector terminal No. 3 (Blue/Black wire) and ground. See Figure .
  2. If battery voltage is present, replace TCL module. If battery voltage is not present, inspect No. 7 fuse. Replace as needed. If fuse is okay, inspect and repair circuit between fuse No. 7 and TCL module. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
