Test No. 9 (Accelerator Switch Circuit)

  1. When ignition switch is in ON position, battery voltage should be present on terminal No. 3 of control unit. When accelerator pedal is depressed, 4.5-5.5 volts should be present on terminal No. 4 of control unit.
  2. When accelerator pedal is released, no voltage should be present on terminal No. 4 of control unit. If circuit does not test correctly, replace switch or repair harness.
