Test 119A - Wiper Problem During Wash Cycle

CAUTION:
Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.

article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.
- Turn wiper switch to intermittent position. If wipers do not operate in intermittent mode, go to TEST 117A . If wipers operate in intermittent mode, check washer pump operation. If washer pump does not operate, go to TEST 118A. If washer pump operates, go to next step.
- Gain access to Body Control Module (BCM) Black connector, located behind right kick panel. Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, check voltage on BCM Black connector terminal No. 5 (Brown wire). With probe connected, engage washers. If voltage is more than 10 volts while engaging switch, replace BCM. If voltage is less than 10 volts while engaging switch, repair open in Brown wire between washer pump and BCM.
