Test 97A - Left Front Door Fails To Lock From Any Switch

Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.

article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.
- Gain access to Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module, located behind rear seat. Turn ignition off. Disconnect RKE module Black connector. Go to next step.
- Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, check voltage on RKE module Black connector terminal "A" (Pink wire). If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair open Pink wire. If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step.
- Check voltage on RKE module Black connector terminal "E" (Pink/Violet wire) while depressing door lock switch to UNLOCK position. If voltage is less than 10 volts when door lock switch is depressed, repair open Pink/Violet wire. If voltage is more than 10 volts, replace RKE module.
