Test 98A - Left Front Door Unlock Problem With Remote Keyless

ENTRY (RKE)

- WIRING DIAGRAMS - 3.3L
- WIRING DIAGRAMS - 3.5L
- Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.CAUTION: Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting any module connector.
- Gain access to Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module. See Figure . Disconnect RKE module Black connector. Go to next step.
- Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, check voltage on RKE module Black connector terminal "A" (Pink wire). If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair open Pink wire. If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step.
- Check voltage on RKE module Black connector terminal "E" (Pink/Violet wire). Depress left front door lock switch to UNLOCK position. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair open Pink/Violet wire. If voltage is more than 10 volts, replace RKE module.
