Test 85A - Testing OTIS Mileage & Distance Functions

Drive vehicle to update OTIS and perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.
- Using scan tool, read Body Control Module (BCM) DTCs. If scan tool displays NO VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL, see appropriate article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE:
- WIRING DIAGRAMS - 3.3L
- WIRING DIAGRAMS - 3.5L
If scan tool does not display NO VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL, go to next step.
- If scan tool displays THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR VOLTAGE HIGH, see appropriate article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE;
- WIRING DIAGRAMS - 3.3L
- WIRING DIAGRAMS - 3.5L
If scan tool does not display THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR VOLTAGE HIGH, go to next step.
- If scan tool displays THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR VOLTAGE LOW, see appropriate article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE:
If scan tool does not display THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR VOLTAGE LOW, replace BCM.
