The cruise control system is electronically controlled and vacuum operated. The electronic control is integrated into the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) located under the air cleaner housing. System consists of the following components: PCM, servo, cruise control switches, vacuum reservoir, vehicle speed sensor, cruise control relay, brakelight switch and Manual Valve Lever Position Switch (MVLPS). System controls are located on the steering wheel air bag module and consist of ON/CRUISE, OFF, RES/ACCEL and SET/COAST buttons.
