Using MIL (Eclipse 2.0L Non-Turbo)

Before entering on-board diagnostics, see SERVICE PRECAUTIONS . Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) (Service Engine Soon light) is located on instrument cluster, to left of tachometer.

Turn ignition on, off, on, off and on within 5 seconds. Record 2-digit DTCs as displayed by flashing MIL. There will be a slight pause between flashes, representing first and second digits of DTC. Longer pauses separate individual DTCs.
