Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor

On engines using Volume Air Flow (VAF), IAT sensor is incorporated into VAF Sensor assembly. On engines using Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor, IAT sensor is located in intake plenum. This resistor-based sensor measures temperature of incoming air and sends it to PCM.
