Service Notes
- Lubricate synchro cone prior to installation.
- Use a selectable size snap ring to adjust end-play of 2-4WD synchro hub. End play should be 0-.003" (0-.08 mm).
- Assemble synchro cone and outer ring on drive sprocket to measure wear. Measure clearance between outer synchro ring and drive sprocket. If clearance is less than .012" (.3 mm), replace components as necessary.
