Switch Testing

Test switch by checking continuity between switch connector terminal and switch body. Continuity should exist when switch end or ball actuator is released. When switch actuator is pressed, circuit should be open.

NOTE: If Low Range Operation detection switch is stuck or failed in the ON position the following symptoms will occur: No TCC Lock-up, No OD operation; Engine RPM limited to 3500 RPM.
