DTC 17: Throttle Position Sensor

- Check if PCM DTC P0120 (engine performance DTC) is also present. If DTC P0120 is present, see appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. If DTC P0120 is not present, go to next step.
- Check connector between throttle position sensor and cruise control ECU. Repair as necessary. If connector is okay, check circuit between throttle position sensor and cruise control ECU. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair as necessary. If circuit is okay, replace cruise control ECU.
