Test O-1: Ignition Switch Acc Circuit Check

  1. Remove ETACS-ECU. Turn ignition switch to ACC position. Measure voltage between ground and ETACS-ECU 20-pin connector C-114 terminal No. 7. See Figure . If battery voltage does not exist, go to next step. If battery voltage exists, replace ETACS-ECU and retest system.
    NOTE: On retest, ignition switch (ACC) input signal check should be okay. Windshield wiper and washer and rear wiper and washer (if equipped) should work normally.
  2. Check ETACS-ECU connector C-114 for loose, damaged or corroded terminals. Check for open in Blue/Black wire between ETACS-ECU connector terminal No. 7 and ignition switch 6-pin connector terminal No. 6. Repair connector or Blue/Black wire as necessary and retest system.
