Using Scan Tool

Connect MUT-II (MB991502), or scan tool with equivalent functions, to Data Link Connector (DLC). Operate indicated switches. See SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL REQUIREMENTS  table. If switch input signal is sent to DLC, scan tool tone alarm will sound. If switch input is not received at DLC, diagnose problem. See INPUT SIGNAL SYMPTOM TEST INDEX  table.
