Test No. 2
- Turn ignition off. Remove power window relay. Check relay. See POWER WINDOW RELAY
under COMPONENT TESTING. If power window relay is okay, go to next step. If power window relay is bad, replace relay and retest system.
- Measure voltage between ground and power window relay connector A-04X terminal No. 1 and No. 5. See Fig 1
. If battery voltage is not present on one of the terminal checks, inspect power window relay connector A-04X for damage and repair as necessary and retest. Power window should work normally. If connector is not damaged, check harness wiring between power window relay connector A-04X and fusible link No. 4. Power window should work normally. If battery voltage is not present on either terminal, go to next step. See WIRING DIAGRAMS

- Check power window relay connector A-04X and front-ECU connector A-09X for damage. Repair as necessary and retest. See Fig 2
. If connectors are not damaged, check harness wiring between power window relay connector A-04X and front-ECU connector A-09X for damage and repair as necessary. If harness wiring is not damaged, go to next step.
- Check power window relay connector A-04X and power window main switch connector E-12 for damage and repair as necessary. See WIRING DIAGRAMS
. If connectors are not damaged, check harness wiring between power window relay connector A-04X and power window main switch connector E-12 for damage and repair as necessary. See Fig 3
. If harness wiring is in good condition, replace front-ECU.
