DTC 16: Ecu Power Supply
Check battery for 12.4 volts and battery terminal connectors for corrosion or looseness. If any problems exist, correct before continuing further diagnosis. The ABS system consumes a large amount of battery current for its self-check function. If battery is completely discharged and jumper cables are used to start the engine, engine must run for a few minutes to allow battery to recharge. If battery does not have the proper charge, the engine may stall or misfire. To prevent this condition, allow the engine to run for a few minutes before driving vehicle, or temporarily disable ABS system by removing the fusible link for the ABS circuit. ABS warning light will illuminate when ABS fusible link is removed. After battery is recharged, reinstall ABS fusible link and check that ABS warning light does not remain illuminated.
