Retrieving Input Switch Codes

NOTE:
System input switch test should be performed if no DTCs are stored when performing self-diagnostics. System input tests cycle each cruise control switch and sensor.
- Use scan tool for code retrieval. Turn ignition off. Install scan tool to DLC. Turn ignition on. While holding cruise control switch in SET/COAST position, depress end of switch to ON position. Within one second, move switch up to RES position. See Figure .
- Operate each switch in CHECK RESULTS CODE IDENTIFICATION table, and read input switch codes on scan tool. Repair or replace components as necessary.
