Throttle Position (TP) Sensor

TP SENSOR ADJUSTMENT SPECIFICATIONS

Diamante W/ Traction Control 1 & 3 580-690
Diamante W/O Traction Control 1 & 3 (2) 400-1000
Eclipse & Galant 1 & 3 535-735
Lancer 1 & 2 335-935
Mirage 1.5L & Mirage 1.8L W/O Cruise Control 2 & 4 (3) 400-1000
Mirage 1.8L W/Cruise Control 2 & 4 (2) 400-1000
Montero & Montero Sport 1 & 3 535-735
(1) With ignition on and TP sensor in idle position.
(2) Test with .055" (1.4 mm) thick feeler gauge inserted to a maximum depth of .118" (3 mm) between throttle lever and free lever.
(3) Test with .177" (.45 mm) thick feeler gauge inserted between fixed SAS and throttle lever.
