Test No. 13: BRAKELIGHT/Stoplight Switch Input Circuit Check

Check brakelight/stoplight switch. See BRAKELIGHT/STOPLIGHT SWITCH TEST under COMPONENT TESTS. Replace as necessary. If brakelight/stoplight switch is okay, go to next step.
Check harness connectors to cruise control ECU and power supply. Repair as necessary. If connectors are okay, check circuit between junction block connector No. 2 and cruise control ECU. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair as necessary.
