DTC Set Criteria

DTC will set under following conditions:

• At least 16 minutes have passed since engine started. Engine coolant temperature is lower than 86°F (30°C) when starting engine and more than 140°F (60°C) when drive cycle test begins. Engine speed is 1600 RPM or more. Power steering pressure switch is off. Barometric pressure is more than 11 psi (76 kPa). Volumetric efficiency is 25-80 percent. Intake air temperature is more than 41°F (5°C). Vehicle speed is 19 MPH or more. Monitor runs 75-125 seconds. Code will set if internal pressure of fuel tank drops less than .047 psi. (.324 kPa) in 20 seconds after purge solenoid is driven when tank and vapor lines are closed.
