Starter Switch Signal: 3.5RL

Measure voltage by backprobing between PCM 26-pin connector "A" terminal No. 26 (Brown/Black wire) and PCM 12-pin connector "C" terminal No. 6 (Blue/Red wire) with ignition switch in START position. See Figure. If battery voltage is present, starter signal is okay. If battery voltage is not present, inspect STARTER SIGNAL fuse No. 14 (7.5-amp) in underdash fuse block. If fuse is okay, repair open circuit in Blue/Red wire between PCM 12-pin connector "C" and fuse No. 14. If fuse is blown, repair short circuit in Blue/Red wire between PCM 12-pin connector "C" and fuse No. 14 or PGM-FI main relay. Replace fuse.
