DTC Set Criteria

Engine coolant temperature and intake air temperature are each 86°F (30°C) or less when engine starts. For monitor to run, less than 16 minutes have passed since engine started. Engine coolant temperature is more than 140°F (60°C). Engine speed is 1600 RPM or more. Power steering pressure switch is off. Atmospheric pressure is 11 psi (76 kPa) or more. Volumetric efficiency is 25-80 percent. Vehicle speed is 19 MPH or more. Monitor will stop if intake air temperature drops to less than 41°F (5°C), pressure increase when Evaporative Emission (EVAP) purge solenoid and ventilation solenoid close is less than .065 psi (451 Pa), or pressure fluctuation width is less than .094 psi (647 Pa). Monitor runs 75-125 seconds. Code will set when internal pressure of fuel tank changes less than .047 psi (324 Pa) in 20 seconds after tank and vapor line are closed.
