Vacuum Control Valve Check

  1. Disconnect White-striped vacuum hose from vacuum control valve and plug hose end. Connect hand vacuum pump to vacuum control valve port from which hose was removed.
  2. Start and idle engine. Check vacuum. With engine idling, vacuum should be between 6.3-7.1 in. Hg (21.3-24.0 kPa).
