DTC Set Criteria (2.4L)

There are 3 monitors, 2 seconds each, during each drive cycle. At least 20 seconds have passed since last monitor was complete. Engine coolant temperature is more than 180°F (82°C). Engine speed is 1000-2000 RPM (M/T) or 940-2000 RPM (A/T). Intake air temperature is more than 41°F (5°C). Barometric pressure is more than 11 psi (76 kPa). Vehicle speed is 3.1 MPH or more (M/T) or 18.7 MPH or more (A/T). At least 90 seconds have passed since manifold differential pressure sensor output voltage fluctuated 1.5 volts or more. Throttle valve is closed. Volumetric efficiency is less than 15 percent (M/T) or less than 24 percent (A/T). On vehicles with M/T, fuel is being shut off. On all vehicles, code will be set if pressure fluctuations are minimal when EGR solenoid is turned on.
