DTC Set Criteria

Engine coolant temperature and intake air temperature are each 91°F (33°C) or less when engine starts. For monitor to run, less than 16 minutes have passed since engine started. Engine coolant temperature is 140°F (60°C) or more. Engine speed is 1600 RPM or more. Power steering pressure switch is off. Barometric pressure is 11 psi (76 kPa) or more. Intake manifold pressure is 3.9-13.5 psi (27-93 kPa). Vehicle speed is 12 MPH or more. Monitor will stop if air temperature is less than 41°F (5°C), fuel tank pressure increase when purge solenoid and ventilation solenoid are closed is less than .065 psi (.451 kPa), or fuel tank pressure fluctuation width is less than .094 psi (.647 kPa). Monitor runs 75-125 seconds. Code will set when internal pressure of fuel tank has changed less than .047 psi (.324 kPa) in 20 seconds after purge solenoid has been driven when tank and vapor line are closed.
